Puri: Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal chief minister Mamata Banerjee, who is on a four-day visit to Odisha, is scheduled to have ‘darshan’ of the triad at the Jagannath Temple in Puri on Wednesday.
Mamata reached Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in Bhubaneswar around 9 pm on Tuesday. Parliamentary Affairs Minister B K Arukha received her at the airport on behalf of the state government. The West Bengal chief minister told the media that she would meet her Odisha counterpart Naveen Patnaik on Thursday.
She then left on a private trip to the Pilgrim Town of Puri by road.

“Three platoons of armed police personnel have been deployed near the hotel. One additional SP rank officer and three DSPs are supervising the security arrangements,” City DSP Khirasagar Nayak.
