Mamita Murder: BJP Protestors Hurl Eggs At Cops In Baripada; ABVP March Towards CM’s Residence In Odisha Capital

Baripada: Protesting BJP workers hurled eggs at police during agitation over Mamita Meher murder case at Baripada on Wednesday.

According to reports, a scuffle breaks out between protestors and police when the former attempted to barge into SP’s office to put forward their demand. Two protestors were reportedly injured in the scuffle.

In another development, hundreds of members of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) were picked up by the police while they were taking out a rally to gherao CM Naveen Patnaik’s residence in Bhubaneswar demanding the dismissal of Minister Mishra from the Cabinet.

Police stopped them near Sishu Bhawan square. But when the agitating students tried to break the barricades, they were taken into preventive custody.
