Bhubaneswar: A man was arrested and forwarded to court on charges of packaging and selling fake tea under the name ‘Tata Tea Premium’ in Bhubaneswar.
According to sources, Kanda Das (32) of Tangi village was selling tea with duplicate packaging of ‘Tata Tea Premium’. He used to buy packing material at cheap prices and label it.
On being informed, the police conducted a raid and seized two bags of tea, packing machine and plastic wraps from the unit. The police arrested Kanda and later forwarded him to court.
