Mumbai: To what extent can a human being go to hide ‘misdeeds’ from the spouse?
Wait till you read what a man from Maharashtra’s Satara did to get an idea.
Tushar Pawar, aged 33, was detained at Mumbai International Airport three days ago after immigration officials discovered that he had tampered with 12 pages of his passport.
Why did Tushar do that?
As per the passenger’s confession, he wanted to erase previous travel records to Thailand.
It was extremely foolish of him to think that he wouldn’t be caught, but he was desperate to hide his travels to Thailand from his wife.
He wanted to avoid a confrontation with his wife, who was unaware of his three earlier trips to Thailand in 2023 and 2024, The Times of India reported.
Sahar Police have arrested Pawar, who operates a logistics business and lives with his family in Satara.
According to a police officer, Pawar caught while travelling to Thailand on an official trip with a client.
Booked for cheating under the Indian Passport Act, Pawar is currently in judicial custody.
