Bargarh: A man was arrested for allegedly hacking his uncle to death at Jada village under Bhatli block in Bargarh district late on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as Mohan Bhue.
According to sources, Mohan had a heated argument with his uncle Kalia Bhue over a property dispute. In a fit of rage, he picked up an axe and attacked his uncle. Kalia died on the spot.
On being informed by locals, police rushed to the spot and seized the body for post-mortem.
Mohan, who fled the spot immediately after committing the crime, was later nabbed by police following raids at different places.
Locals told cops that the two families often quarreled over a long-standing dispute related to a property.
