Man beats wife to death for ‘killing’ daughter

Malkangiri: A man allegedly beat his wife to death after he found his daughter dead in their house at Bariguda village under Biralaxmanpur block in Malkangiri district on Monday.

According to reports, the woman attacked both her son and daughter with a wooden stick following a heated argument. Her daughter died on the spot while son suffered critical injuries.

On reaching home, the man found his daughter dead and, in a fit of rage, attacked his wife with the same wooden
stick, killing her on the spot.

Police, who rushed to the spot after being informed, attributed the incident to be a family feud. Further investigation is on.
