Man Beats Wife To Death In Mayurbhanj

Mayurbhanj:  A man murdered his wife allegedly for returning home late from the market at Mayuranacha village under Kaptipada police limits in Mayurbhanj. The deceased has been identified as Budhhi Nayak. Her husband Ashok Nayak was arrested by police on Wednesday. According to sources, Budhhi had gone to the village haat yesterday and returned home late, following which, Ashok hit her with a stick. The victim died on the spot. Ashok threw her body in a jungle, one km away from his home. Locals spotted the body this morning and informed the police. The police seized the body and arrested Ashok.
