Man Bobbitised Over ‘Extramarital Affair’

Nabarangpur: A woman allegedly chopped off her husband’s genitals at Udayapur village of Tentutlikhunta block in Nabarangpur as she suspected him of having an extra-marital affair.

The victim has been identified as Sadashiv Harijan.

According to sources, Gangei chopped off Sadashiv’s genitals with a sharp weapon, while he was asleep on Sunday night. Hearing him scream, the neighbours reached their home and took him to Nabarangpur district headquarters hospital.

On being informed, Tentutlikhunta police reached the spot and detained the accused woman. Sadashiv had 18 stitches on his genitals as 90 per cent had been chopped off, the said sources.

Sadashiv works in Tamil Nadu and had come home three months back. They had an estranged relationship since Gangei suspected him of having an extra-marital affair.
