Khurda: Unidentified miscreants brutally murdered a man at Siko Bazaar under Jankia police limits in Khurda on Thursday. The deceased was identified as Sanjay Majhi, a resident of Siko village.
Locals spotted the body lying in a pool of blood and informed the police. The deceased, who owns a fast food stall at Meal Chhak, was reportedly attacked with sharp weapons. The postmortem report would shed light on the actual cause of the death, police sources said.
Meanwhile, police have detained three persons and are interrogating them in connection with the murder.
Majhi’s family suspects past enmity to be the reason behind the fatal attack.
