Man Caught On Camera Hitting Doc With Slipper In Odisha

Sambalpur: A businessman was allegedly caught on camera beating a doctor with a slipper at a private diagnostic centre in Odisha’s Sambalpur town for an unusual delay in CT scan.

Following this, the doctor, Chidananda Mishra, lodge a complaint with Town police, which detained the accused, identified as Natabar Banka, after verifying the CCTV footage.

The incident took place on Tuesday when Banka had been to the private diagnostic centre for a health check-up. He was advised a CT scan by the treating doctor following which he waited in the queue. Later, he approached the radiologist Mishra to perform his test at the earliest, but to no avail, police sources said.

Irked over it, Banka removed his chappal and hit the doctor, they added.
