Bhubaneswar: A man and his daughter were injured after an ‘Ama Bus’, allegedly moving on wrong side of the road, hit t
heir scooter in Mancheswar area of Bhubaneswar on Saturday.
According to preliminary information, the two sustained injuries in the incident. While the young girl suffered a fracture in her leg, her father also sustained injuries.
Following the accident, both were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Sources said the bus was allegedly moving on the wrong side of the road when the accident occurred. The exact circumstances leading to the incident are yet to be ascertained.
Locals said the mishap took place after school hours when the man and daughter were travelling along a road in Mancheswar.
Following the accident, angry locals detained the bus and its driver before informing the Mancheswar Police, who have been apprised of the incident.
