Puri: In a tragic incident, a man died after allegedly falling from the balcony of a 7-storey hotel in Baliapanda of Odisha’s Puri.
The deceased has been identified as Arjun Kishan, a driver working who came with a group of employees from a private company from Sundaragada.
The incident took place at the hotel located under the jurisdiction of Baliapanda Police Station late on Saturday night.
Police sources said Arjun fell from the balcony on the 7th floor of the hotel. The body was found in the morning. Following information from the hotel staff, Baliapanda Police reached the spot and launched an investigation.
Police said a post-mortem is being conducted to ascertain the exact cause of death. All four who had come with the deceased are also being questioned.
Further investigation underway to ascertain the circumstances that led to the fall.
