Cuttack: A man allegedly died of suffocation after his car plunged into a canal in Bamphakuda area under Sadar police limits in Odisha’s Cuttack.
The deceased has been identified as Kanha Jena of Bamphakuda.
According to sources, Jena’s family tried to contact and searched for him when he did not return home till late hours on Monday, but could get no information about his whereabouts. Some locals spotted a car inside a canal this morning and informed the Fire Service Department.
