Man Dies As ‘LAccMI’ Bus Hits Motorcycle While Reversing In Odisha’s Boudh

Boudh: A man died while another was injured after a state-run ‘LAccMI’ bus hit the motorcycle they was riding near Lambasari Chhak under Kantamal police limits in Odisha’s Boudh district on Tuesday morning.

The riders have been identified as Prashant Mahanandia and Valmiki Mahanandia of Bichika village under Kantamal block. While Valmiki succumbed to the injuries sustained in the accident, Prashant has been shifted to districts headquarters hospital at Sonepur for better treatment.

The accident took place around 8 am when the driver was reversing the bus. Valmiki and Prashant were rescued by locals and rushed to a hospital at Kantamal, where doctors declared the former as dead, sources said.
