Man Dies After Falling Into Septic Tank In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: A man died after falling into a septic tank in Satya Vihar area here on Sunday afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as Jayant Mohanty (45), a resident of Bhandaridiha village under Ghasipura police limits in Keonjhar district.

According to available information, Mohanty, a plumber by profession, was carrying out repair works at a newly-constructed septic tank of one Gyana Ranjan Bhanja when he suddenly slipped and fell into the tank.

Unable to rescue him locals altered the fire officials about the incident.

Receiving a call at around 1:05 pm, a team of fire personnel rushed to the spot and recovered the body.
