Kandhamal: A man was electrocuted after he came in contact with a live electric wire at Loharabali village under Sadar police limits in Kandhamal district on Friday.
The deceased has been identified as Jalandhar Kanhar (35). He belongs to Loharabali village.
According to sources, the mishap took place when Kanhar was repairing a tubewell. He lost consciousness after coming in contact with a live wire and was rushed to Kandhamal district headquarters hospital, where doctors declared him ‘brought dead’.
On being informed, police reached the spot and started investigation.
