Balasore: An electrician reportedly died of electrocution while repairing a geyser in Odisha’s Balasore district on Thursday.
According to sources, the victim, identified as Achyut Behera of Sartha under Singla police limits in the district, used to repair electrical gadgets for his livelihood.
In this context, a man of Haripur village under Sahadevkhunta police limits had called him to repair his geyser.
While Achyuta was repairing the geyser in the man’s house, he suffered an electric shock and collapsed.
The house owner and other villagers rushed him to a nearby hospital. But Achyuta was declared dead by the doctors in the hospital.
