Man Crushed To Death By Van In Keonjhar

Keonjhar: A man died after being run over by a pick-up van near Harichandanpur Banks Sahi in Keonjhar district on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Jagannath Nayak (35).
Nayak was sitting on the roadside when the speeding van ran over him. The driver of the vehicle fled the spot soon after the incident.
Following the mishap, an irate mob blocked the Naranpur-Duburi road, demanding adequate compensation for the family of the deceased and construction of humps on the accident-prone road.
