Man Dies, Wife Critical In Bomb Attack

Baripada:  A man was killed while his wife suffered grievous injuries after some miscreants threw bombs at their houses in Tumuria village in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district late on Friday.

According to available information, the couple was asleep when some unidentified miscreants hurled bombs at their house and fled.

Hearing the blast, the neighbours rushed to the house and found the man dead and his wife critically injured.

The seriously injured woman, Sakaro, was admitted to the Rairangpur sub-divisional hospital for treatment.

No arrests have been made in the case till now. Preliminary investigation revealed that the incident was the fallout of previous enmity.

Police have sent the body of Badha Baske (40) for post-mortem and begun investigation into the incident.
