Man Files Complaint As Wife Marries For Second Time

Rourkela: In a bizzare incident, Mananjay Choubey from Rourkela, filed a complaint after his wife married another man while he had gone to attend a wedding at his native place.

As per information, Choubey, who belongs to a Bihari Brahmin family, used to stay with his wife in Civil Township area in Rourkela, since his parents didn’t approve of their relationship.

He had allegedly left his wife at her father’s place on January 22, and went to his ancestral place Varanasi, to attend a wedding. Though she was in touch with him, she stopped picking up his call after two or three days.

“When I called from a different number, her mother picked up the call and said that she has been married,” Choubey said.

Alleging that there was no marital discord which would have forced his wife to take the step, Choubey filed an FIR.
