Man Finds Wife & Minor Daughter Murdered In House In Odisha’s Sambalpur

Sambalpur: Police on Thursday began an investigation into the alleged murder of a woman and her minor daughter inside a house in Kisinda under Naktideula block in the district.

The incident came to light after the husband of the deceased woman lodged a complaint at the Kisinda police station.

According to the complaint, the husband had gone to his relative’s house in Sundargarh with his eldest daughter 4-5 days ago to attend a marriage function. When he returned home at about 5.30 pm on Thursday, he found the door of the house open.

After entering the room,  his wife lying on the floor and his 14-year-old daughter on the bed and informed the police.

Following information, the Redhakhol SDPO rushed to the spot with a scientific team for an on-the-spot investigation.
