Jagatsinghpur: Body of a man was found under mysterious circumstances on Sunday morning along the roadside in Balipatna village under Balikuda police limits in Odisha’s Jagatsinghpur district.
The man has been identified as Bijay Swain (42).

g to sources, villagers spotted the body lying on the side of the road early this morning and immediately recognised Swain, a resident of the same village. They promptly alerted the Balikuda police and informed his family members.
Balikuda police have seized the body and sent it for postmortem. Three persons, including his wife, have been detained for questioning. It is being suspected that he was killed the previous night. However, there were no visible injury marks on his body.
Sources further said that Bijay allegedly had an extra marital affair, which led to frequent fights with his wife, which could have contributed to his possible murder.
