Bhubaneswar: A man was found dead near Lingaraj railway station in Odisha capital on Friday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Naba Nayak of Narayana slum in Unit 8 area.
According to sources, the man was found amid bushes with a string around its neck tied to an iron fence of an electric sub station near the station. There are some marks on his neck.
Sources said that he had left home last night after a quarrel in the slum. It is being suspected that he was killed and the body later dumped there.
Airfield police have seized the body and sent it to Capital Hospital for postmortem. A scientific team is at the spot to collect evidence and further investigation is underway.
