Bhubaneswar: A man was found dead near the tracks at Vani Vihar railway station in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday morning.
The deceased has been identified as Deepak Das, who worked in a hotel at Patia.
According to sources, he did not return home last night after work. Though the cause of death is yet to be ascertained, his wife alleged that Das, who was addicted to alcohol and had rubbed people the wrong way, might have been murdered.
Police sent for the body for postmortem and initiated a probe into the case to ascertain the circumstances leading to his death.
