Man Found Dead With Throat Slit, Two Detained

Deogarh: A man was found dead with his throat slit from a forest near Santarataiya village in Deogarh district on Monday. The deceased has been identified as Muna Hans.

Some locals spotted the body and immediately alerted the police.

On being informed about the incident, police along with a scientific team rushed to the spot and launched investigation.

Following preliminary investigation, police confirmed that the man was murdered as his throat had been slit with a sharp weapon. The body was later sent for post-mortem.

Locals suspect that the person might have murdered over a longstanding property dispute between Muna and his elder brother.

Muna’s elder brother Sukaram Hans and his son were detained by police for interrogation.
