Man found hanging from tree in Nabarangpur forest

Nabarangpur: A 40-year-old man was found hanging from a tree in a forest area near Udaipur village under Raighar block of Nabarangpur district on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Jeevan Karmakar, a resident of Udaipur village.
The incident came to the light when some villagers spotted the body and informed police.
According to villagers, Karmakar had a heated argument with his family members a few days back. Depressed over the incident, he might have taken the extreme step.
Since the body had started decomposing, police suspect that he allegedly committed suicide about three to four days back. The body has been sent for postmortem to ascertain the exact cause of death, police sources added.
