Man Hacks Brother-In-Law To Death In Bhubaneswar; Know Reasons

Bhubaneswar: A dispute over family issues led to a violent end as a man hacked his brother-in-law in the city late Thursday night.

According to sources, Papuni Nayak and his brother-in-law Sushant Ghadei of Dhirikuti Basti under Mancheswar police limits had an argument over some family issues. The argument led to heated exchange of words between the two and in a fit of range, Papuni attacked Sushant with a sharp weapon.

As Sushant died following excessive bleeding, Papuni fled. Sushant was working as a sweeper at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the city.

On being informed by Sushant’s family, police went to the spot. Following investigation, police launched a manhunt for Papuni and arrested him on Friday morning.

They sent the body for post mortem and further investigation is on.
