Man hacks wife to death in Koraput, arrested

Koraput: Police on Sunday arrested A man on charges of hacking his wife to death in his house at Adingar village under Laxmipur block in Koraput district.
The accused was identified as Dasari Kaleka.
According to a complaint lodged by the deceased’s son Gopi, his sister, who was sleeping next to their mother Utme Kaleka, found her lying in a pool of blood and saw her father standing near the body with an axe. On hearing the noise, local residents rushed to the spot and handed over Dasari to police.
Police suspect that the accused killed his wife in a drunken rage over a domestic dispute.
