Bhubaneswar: Authorities have apprehended a man and seized a live pangolin from him in Bargarh.
The man has been detained and handed over to Bargarh forest officials after he could not show valid papers for possessing the pangolin.
The raid was conducted by STF officials with the help of Ghess forest range officials under Bargarh forest division.
In the last one year, STF has seized 19 leopard skin, 10 elephant tusk, two deer skin, six live pangolin and 15 pangolin scales. Forty people were arrested.
