Puri: A man was injured in a clash between people of two villages at Brahmhagiri in Puri district late on Friday.
The victim was identified as Padma Tarai of Khatialakuda village.
According to information, a violent clash broke out between Chandraput and Badakhatialakuda villages under Krushnaprasad block of the district over catching fish in Chilika Lake.
“Three persons from Chandraput village have been detained in connection with the incident. Further investigation is on,” said IIC of Krushnaprasad police station Subash Chandra Panda said.
