Man Injured After Being Shot At By Miscreants In Sambalpur

Sambalpur: A man sustained critical injuries after being shot at by unidentified miscreants near stationpada under Khetrajpur police station limits in Sambalpur district on Sunday.

The victim identified as Ganesh Jagdala suffered bullet injury on his left thigh. He was rescued and admitted to the district headquarters hospital for treatment. His condition is stated to be stable.

On being informed about the incident, police reached the spot and started investigation after collecting statements of the locals who were present near the spot.

Though the exact reason behind the firing is yet to be known, locals told the cops that one Bunta Suna might be involved in the crime as Ganesh had an old enmity with him.

However, no arrest has so far been made in the case.
