Jajpur: A man was allegedly killed by his younger brother with an arrow over family dispute in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Saturday.
As per reports, 30-year-old Bulu Pradhan of Ashokjhar village under Kaliapani police limits in the district was involved in an argument with his younger brother Durlabh Pradhan over some family issues on the day.
The argument escalated into heated exchange of words between the siblings. In a fit of rage, Durlabh brought out his bow and arrow and shot at his elder brother.
As Bulu started bleeding profusely and died on the spot, Durlabh fled the village. On hearing their shouting, the villagers went to the house and found the body of Bulu in a pool of blood.
On being informed by the villagers, a team from Kaliapani police station went to the village and sent the body for post-mortem. The police have registered a case and launched a manhunt to trace Durlabh.
