Berhampur: An old man was allegedly killed and his wife seriously injured in an attack by their sons in Ganjam district on Saturday.
According to police, 65-year-old Abhimanyu Pradhan of Bada Danda Sahi under Kalamba panchayat in Polsara block was killed and his wife Apsara Pradhan injured after they were attacked by their two sons Susanta and Mangulu with lathi during the wee hours of Saturday.
The IIC Polsara police station, Jitendra Kumar Mallick, said they have arrested Susanta and Mangulu and registered a case. Injured Apsara has been admitted in a hospital.
The police suspected domestic dispute to be the cause of murder. Susanta and Mangulu had reportedly killed their younger brother a few months ago.
