Jaleswar: Road rage claimed a life at Patheswar village in Jaleswar of Balasore district late on Wednesday.
The victim was a car driver, who was brutally attacked by a group of three persons following an accident. He was identified as Harishchandra Kamila.
The incident occurred when Kamila’s car hit a motorcycle. The three persons on the bike dragged him out of the four-wheeler and beat him up severely.
Some locals later rescued the victims and rushed him to a nearby hospital. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injures on the way to the hospital.
Police have detained one of the accused while two others are absconding. Further investigation is on.
