Satna: A man in Madhya Pradesh’s Satna district allegedly hacked his brother to death with an axe late on Friday after the victim turned off the music and stopped him from dancing at a family function.
The incident took place at Mauhar village under Kothi police limits of Satna. The accused, identified as Rajkumar Kol (30), has been arrested and the weapon seized.
According to police sources, Rajkumar’s brother Rakesh (35) had organised a function at his house, during which the victim turned off the music played on a sound system. It led to an argument between the brothers, and in a fit of rage, Rajkumar allegedly attacked Rakesh with an axe and killed him on the spot.
The accused then fled from the scene and was later nabbed near a culvert where he was hiding.
