Man Kills Father Over Family Feud

Anandpur: In another case of death following family feud, a man
allegedly killed his father at Sapakanta village under Bansapal block
in Keonjhar district on Friday night.

The deceased has been identified as Bira Munda.

It is reported that the man attacked his father with a stick,
following a heated argument, killing him on the spot. Police reached
the spot and arrested the accused.

Two other similar cases were reported recently. In the first, on
Thursday, a man allegedly killed his parents in a fit of rage in Angul
district.  He did this when they were trying to prevent him from
assaulting his wife. He has been detained for investigation.

Another man was reportedly shot dead by his son over a family dispute
at Shrugipada village under Kundheigola police limits in Deogarh
district. A country-made pistol was used. The father-son duo was
consuming liquor when the incident took place. The son sustained
bullet injuries and was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
