Rourkela: A man hung himself after killing his wife at Andhari
village under Biramitrapur police limits in Kuanramunda block of Odisha’s
Sundargarh district late on Tuesday.
The man identified as S. Kantulana and his wife, Priya Kantulana, had
an argument before they went to bed. Irked over which, the accused
attacked her wife with an axe and then hanged himself from the roof of
his house. The bodies were recovered from a locked room, police
sources said.
However, local people said that the incident took place over a family dispute.
The motive for the killing is still unknown but the police are
investigating the case.
