Man Kills Wife Over Family Feud In Mayurbhanj

Baripada: A man allegedly killed his wife over family feud at Padmapur village under Jashipur police station limits in Mayurbhanj district late on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Samabari Ho.

According to police sources, a heated argument ensued between the couple over some issue. In a fit of rage, her husband Shiba attacked his wife with a stick, killing her on the spot.

When neighbours heared the women screaming, they rushed to the spot and found her lying on the floor. Before they could rescue the victim, she succumbed to her injuries, the sources said.

The accused has been arrested.
