Bhubaneswar: A man and his nephew were critically injured after being allegedly attacked by miscreants in Laxmisagar area of
Bhubaneswar.
The injured, identified as Badal Ojha and Alok Ojha, were provided medical assistance immediately after the incident that took place on Friday night. They were later shifted to a private hospital as their condition reportedly turned critical.
Sources said a group of youths reported to be from Haldipadia slum area allegedly stormed the site on motorcycles and attacked the two with knives.
Preliminary investigation conducted by the police indicated that the attack was linked to previous enmity.
Following the incident, a team from Laxmisagar Police Station reached the spot and began an investigation.
Police were examining the sequence of events and attempting to identify all those allegedly involved in the attack at the time of reporting.
