Khurda: A man sustained serious injuries after he was shot at in Nuasahi of Begunia here on Friday.
He has been identified as Bibhuti Jena. According to reports, Jena had gone to his sister’s house when a trivial argument broke out between between him and one Prasanna Nayak. Nayak, is reportedly, the tenant of Jena’s sister.
After the incident, Nayak fled from the spot. Jena received a bullet injury and was rushed to Khurda district headquarter hospital and later shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar.
Jena is a native of Odagaon in Nayagarh district. Local police registered a case and further investigation is on.
