Khurda: Somanath Bhujabal, suspected to be involved in peddling drugs, was shot at by unidentified miscreants at Tengha Haat Chhak in Samantrapur, Khurda, on Tuesday evening.
The assailants opened at least five rounds of fire were at Bhujabal, who has been hospitalised in a critical condition.
Though details of the incident are awaited, police sources said it could be fallout of illegal drugs trade. Police is yet to identify the assailants or make any detentions.
