Man Shot At In Puri, Condition Critical

Puri: A man was shot at near Solapur Chhack under Gop block in Puri district on Thursday.The victim has been identified as Sunakar Mohapatra, the nephew of Gop block former vice chairman.Mohapatra, who received bullet injury on his right hand, was rescued and immediately rushed to Gop hospital for treatment. His condition is stated to be critical.

Quoting locals, a police officer said, “The person was allegedly shot at by one Prakash Muduli, a resident of Suryanagar in the district. The accused fled the spot soon after committing the crime.”
