Man & Son Killed As Bike Hits Roadside Tree In Odisha’s Balangir

Balangir: A man and his son were killed as their motorcycle hit a roadside tree in Odisha’s Balangir district on Saturay.

According to sources, Manu Nial and his son Khetri Nial of of Kharbahali village under Belpada police station in the district had gone on their motorcycle on some work to Kantabanji.

While they were returning home, their bike crashed into a roadside tree between Salandi and Kharbahali. Both of them were thrown off the bike and fell on the ground on the impact of the crash.

The locals rushed the father and son, who were bleeding profusely, to the community health centre (CHC) at Belpada. But the doctors in the CHC declared Manu Nial brought dead.

As Khetri was in a critical condition, the CHC doctors sent him to Bhima Bhoi Medical College and Hospital at Balangir. But he succumbed on the way to the Balangir hospital, the sources said.

Meanwhile, Belpada police went to the accident spot and registered a case regarding the accident after enquiring from the locals.
