Man Stabbed To Death By Elder Brother Following Argument In Odisha’s Kalahandi

Bhawanipatna: A man was allegedly killed his elder brother following an argument over a trivial issue at a village in Odisha’s Kalahandi district.

The incident reportedly took place at Bahadur Bagicha Pada under the jurisdiction of Bhawanipatna Town police station late on Sunday night after a heated argument between the two brothers.

The deceased has been identified as Ganesh Bag. His elder brother Mahendra Bag reportedly surrendered before the police after committing the crime.

As per reports, Mahendra attacked his younger brother with a screwdriver that was lying near him following a heated argument at their house late in the night.

The family members rushed the victim to the district headquarters hospital where he died while undergoing treatment.

The accused was stated to have surrendered before the police on Monday morning. The police have launched an investigation into the incident and started interrogating the accused.
