Man Stabbed To Death In Jagatsinghpur

Jagatsinghpur: Unidentified miscreants allegedly stabbed a 32-year-old man to death at Banipata village under Kujanga police limits in Jagatsinghpur district late on Wednesday.

The deceased was identified as Ranjan, son of Paradip-based businessman Ramesh Parida.

According to sources, three youths intercepted Ranjan near a Hanuman temple and there was heated exchange of words. They then attacked him with a broken beer bottle and fled the spot. He succumbed to injuries while being taken to SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Police have detained a person in connection with the incident.
