Bhubaneswar: Taking serious note of the incident in which youth was tied in front a moving truck in Paradip area, the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) has asked Jagatsinghpur SP Akhileshvar Singh to probe into the incident.
The Rights body has asked Singh to submit his report within 15 days and the next hearing has been fixed for June 17.
According to reports, a man was tied up in front of a moving truck, garlanded with shoes and paraded on road for allegedly stealing mobile phone at Bhutmindia Square on Paradip-Chandikhole road.
The video on the incident went viral and social media users termed the incident as inhuman and atrocious.
