New Delhi: A 22-year-old man who was out on bail wanted to go back to jail. So, he found a sure shot method. He allegedly made a phone call with a death threat to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sure enough, he was arrested in Delhi’s Khajuri Khas.
Identified as Salman, he made the death threat call to the police last night. The arrested accused dialed the police and said, “I want to kill Modi [PM Modi],” India Today reported.
Following the call, police apprehended him and brought him to the police station for questioning. During interrogation, the man said he made the call because he wanted to go to jail.
Salman has several cases against him and was out on bail, police found out. India Today quoted sources as saying that since the matter is related to PM Narendra Modi, the intelligence officials, too, will interrogate Salman.
