Bhubaneswar: Denizens of Bhubaneswar will get an opportunity to taste different varieties of quality mangoes that to at pocket-friendly prices as the Odisha government is gearing up to organise a two-day mango festival-cum exhibition at the premises of Central Horticultural Experiment Station (CHES) in Ainginia here from June 3.
In the festival, 100 best varieties of mangoes grown in different parts of the state will be on display at 30 stalls.
Besides, one can also get mango salad, pickle, juice, ‘Amba Sadha’ and other items prepared from mangoes at the food court.
“The festival aims to give a boost to the mango industry and provide a better platform to the tribal farmers to showcase and sell their farm produce directly to the customers without interference of middlemen”, an official said.
