Mumbai: Kangana Ranaut already seems to have won hearts in her avatar of Manikarnika, the Queen of Jhansi. The movie’s trailer was released on Tuesday.
Directed by Radha Krishna Kagarlamudi (Krish) and Ranaut herself, the film revolves around Manikarnika and the Battle of 1857 against the British.
The film is set for a January 25, 2019 release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The movie faced a lot of delay in shoots and several actors, including Sonu Sood, walked out of the movie mid way. Sources said that the budget of the film has exceeded by a huge margin.
Kangana had once reportedly said that she is extremely proud of the film and portraying the character, who empowers and inspires. “We have put in our heart, blood and sweat into making this film and I believe it will make each and every Indian proud,” she said.
