Berhampur: Police on Monday recovered a blood-soaked body from a house near NAC Bazar Sahi Chhaka of Polasara in Odisha’s Ganjam district.
The deceased has been identified as Hemant Kanak Gohi. He was staying in the house on rent, sources said.
Though the actual reason behind the death is yet to be ascertained, it is being suspected that he might have been stabbed to death.
On being informed, Polasara police recovered the body for postmortem and initiated a probe into the matter.
